3 min yoga while brushing your teeth
We’re talking about habits this month.
And as you know, brushing your teeth is a good one to have. Not only does it make us feel good about ourselves, it also helps with others’ opinions of us.
Obviously most people already brush their teeth every day, so we’re not planning to talk about that. Instead, we thought a quick little workout would be just the right thing to add to your routine
And this one, just like brushing your teeth, will improve your sex life today – and your overall comfort as you age. What a bonus.
In terms of forming habits, you’ll probably want to maintain the order of the exercises, but feel free to do one in the morning, and one before bed.
While you brush, stand comfortably and squeeze your pelvic muscles. Hold this squeeze for as long as you can. Release and repeat. Once you feel you can hold it for 30 seconds comfortably, switch to shorter, rhythmic contractions, holding each one for 30 seconds or so. If you have difficulty with the position, sit straight on the edge of the tub or toilet seat until you become proficient.
Stand with your feet together, then step forward with your right foot. Lean forward onto this foot, so that you feel the weight of your body on held by your right thigh. Hold this position for 30 seconds, then switch feet. Repeat each side twice more.
After 21 days, you may just find that you can’t brush your teeth without your yoga.
You’ll feel fabulous about yourself in no time at all. And although we can’t take credit for any improvement in your sex life… well, we hope that happens too.
